Sweet Smelling Fruit: Cultivating a Heart that lives by the Spirit

Fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23

I am excited to announce that our new series is set to begin next week!

Our upcoming series is all about the Fruits of the Spirit. We’ll be we’ll be digging in to discover what it looks like when we live by the spirit, what it looks like when we live by the flesh, and the importance of walking them out in our lives as followers of Jesus.

Instead of covering all nine of the Fruits of the Spirit in a single series, we will be spending a few weeks on each one. This will allow us to learn what God’s word has to say about each of them individually.

Self-Control: Part one in a series on the Fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23First up in our series is Self-Control.

I don’t know about you but I really struggle with this one. Which is why I am so excited to be collaborating this month with my friend and fellow blogger Jill Hoven! Jill blogs over at Follow His Footprints. She is also focusing on self-control in April, so I’ll be sharing a few things from her with you throughout this part of the series.

Are you looking for a way to stay rooted in the word throughout the week?

During this series, I’ll be releasing a new 30 Day Bible Reading Challenge for each of the nine Fruits of the Spirit. This challenge is designed to help us meditate and reflect on God’s word every day. Plus it also includes Bonus Journaling Prompt Questions to guide us as we study the scriptures!

When you subscribe you'll receive encouraging devotions, inspiring articles, bible studies and freebies! subscribeIs this your first time here? Sign up for my weekly newsletter to receive updates on new posts and freebies.

Thank you for joining me today. I’m really looking forward to diving into God’s word with you as we study the Fruits of the Spirit!

~Kelly

Self-control–sometimes that can be so frustrating. And then I realize I’m trying to control myself rather than depend on Christ for His control. Blessings today!
