Magazine Subscriptions Make a Great Gift
Looking for the perfect gift for your mom, sister, daughter, or friend? Why not give them the gift of a Christian magazine subscription this Christmas?
For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed curling up with a cup of hot tea, cocoa or coffee, and a good magazine. I love the reading the inspiring stories and devotions, learning tips from the how-to articles and looking at the stunning photography. Oh, and the recipes–yum!
Perhaps your loved one would enjoy a subscription. There are numerous magazines available (see my list below) that will encourage them in their faith and relationship with Jesus. A magazine subscription an excellent gift option because you’re sure to find one that almost everyone on your Christmas gift buying list would enjoy. Plus, a subscription lasts months so your gift would continue throughout the year.
Because there are so many great magazines out there–too many to list in one blog post–I decided to narrow it down to only a handful of my favorite publications. Each magazine is either written explicitly for women or would be an excellent choice for a woman. I hope you will enjoy my list of recommended magazines and find one that’s perfect for your gift recipient–and maybe one for yourself too!
Eight Christian Magazines For Women
Just Between Us is a magazine that encourages and equips women in their faith journey. They also cover topics on family, marriage, life’s struggles, ministry, our relationship with Jesus and more.
Life:Beatiful is an inter-denominational Christian lifestyle magazine for women that is dedicated to bringing the message of the Bible to the world. Additional lifestyle topics include parenting, cooking, decorating, working, volunteering and other life issues.
This is a great publication for women of all ages and walks of life.
Journey is a monthly devotional magazine that points women to God and His word while also helping them to serve Him in their homes, churches, and communities.
An excellent choice for women with hectic family schedules–which is most women nowadays.
Home Life is a monthly publication that helps busy families maintain their spiritual health by offering practical and biblical solutions that encourage families to deepen their relationships and strengthen their faith.
A beautiful magazine for the woman who enjoys Bible study, recipes, how-to articles, craft projects and more.
THE JOYFUL LIFE is a lifestyle publication for women. This magazine is dedicated to helping women seek the joy that can only be found by inviting Jesus into our everyday lives. Their goal is to help women find joy in every area of their lives.
Indeed an inspirational magazine! It’s full of biblically-based articles that encourage you to grow in your relationship with God and knowledge of His word. I love that every issue includes gospel prompts and bible study tips.
This coffee table magazine is just lovely. It is full of inspiring articles that draw you closer to the heart of God and practical bits such as gardening tips and recipes. By the way, the photography is gorgeous!
This inspiring faith-based magazine encourages women to live in a way that influences future generations. Inside its vibrant pages, you will find devotionals, inspiring stories, recipes, creative resources, scripture reading lists, and more.
