“I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.” 2 Timothy 1:5 (NIV)
Was there a woman in your life that influenced your faith?

I remember most nights walking by her bedroom door and peering inside to find her reading the scriptures–an image that has always stuck with me. She didn’t sit me down and formally teach me bible lessons but regularly talked to me about God and his word. Whether she realized it then or not, her example, genuine faith, and love for God influenced my faith in Christ and helped cultivate my own passion for reading and studying the scriptures.
